Botselo Mills is a dynamic, hands on, family
operated maize milling operation located in the
heart of the maize producing area of the North West
Province in South Africa.
Botselo Mills is owned and run by the Hobson
family, who have been maize farmers in the North
West province of South Africa for the past three
generations. It is from this farming background that
their enthusiasm for milling was born some 30 years
ago.
From humble and modest beginnings, the milling
operation has grown and developed substantially into
what it is today - a state of the art maize mill
that has incorporated some of the newest and up to
date technology and manufacturing facilities.
Botselo Mills is situated on 7.5 hectares of
industrial property in Delareyville, of which
approximately 25, 000 m² is under roof.
Botselo Mills has a combined capacity to mill 35
tons of maize per hour – 20 tons of white maize and
15 tons of yellow maize.
This translates to 120, 000 tons of white maize
and 90, 000 tons of yellow maize per annum.
Botselo Mills produces a comprehensive range of
both white and yellow maize products. The flag ship
product being Batho Bothle Super White.
To maintain uncompromising standards of quality
and service the Botselo team comprises of
approximately 150 unskilled, 100 semi skilled and 80
skilled staff totalling more than 330.
An in-house transport fleet of 25 semi - link and
interlink combinations together with dedicated sub
contractors ensure hassle free and timeous
deliveries of all Botselo products throughout
Southern Africa.
